Hello and welcome to my new blog. My name is Jamie Skagerberg, also known online as Miss Midie. As early as age 10 I greatly enjoyed drawing and created art throughout my whole childhood. I especially loved art class in middle school and high school...my favorite part of the day each day. I did take a break when I got married and had children, but once they started school I had plenty of me time to pick up creating again. And now I have been on the internet creating and selling many different forms of artwork that's been sent all over the world for well over twenty years. I've painted with acrylics, watercolor, pencil, guache...and even sold a few giclee prints of my art. I had dabbled with digital artwork a few years ago and had a ton of fun, but became too distracted with life to further explore it. It wasn't until last year that I picked up my digital pencil and began creating again with an exciting new idea in hand. 

 I have loved collecting stickers since I was a child back in the 80's. I still collect them to this day. So I had a fun brainstorm idea of creating my own line of 1980's vintage vibe stickers like I so adored especially as a child. My first image took me over 2 months to complete and I thought if I was to have a full line of stickers eventually, this was going to take a while. Honestly, I became a little disheartened. It wasn't until a few months later that I decided to try a slightly different approach creating digital artwork for my stickers. I loved the results and I'm now creating artwork in full force that's fueled by my extreme passion for brining back to life the stickers we all loved and collected in the 80's. Prismatic stickers!
